We were supposed to go to Peterman Island today but it developed ice blockage in front of it so we couldn’t land there. Instead we went a little further and broke through some ice and parked the boat. We then got to walk off the ship onto the ice. No one on the ship including staff has ever done it! It was unbelievable! When everyone got back on the ship, we then moved forward a short distance and everyone could take a zodiac to the Ukraine Station on Antartica. They are stationed there for 12 months - April to April! It was a day of new experiences!
