Nov. 24th - Stanley, Falkland Islands

Yesterday we were at sea all day going to different lectures. This morning we docked in Stanley, the capital city of the Falkland Islands. The Falkland Islands have two main islands, West Falkland and East Falkland, but have about 776 smaller islands. The population is close to 2,200 civilians and a little over a 1,000 military personnel. They are happy being British and do not want anything to do with Argentina.
